So I left the teaser for you over the weekend. I promised an update once the mid-life-crisis purchase arrived. It was supposed to be here Monday, and I would have had an update yesterday, but instead it showed up yesterday.
Here is a picture of it before it came off the truck.
This one is of me driving it through the parking lot where it was unloaded. Notice it doesn't even have a license plate yet.
And here I am giving Rich one of the first rides after getting plates.
The weather was iffy all day,a nd I didn't have much time to get out with it, so I am sure there will be some better pictures coming soon. I think a cruise up to thatchers park on a nice day sounds like a good idea.
There are some more pictures from the previous owner and builder in the gallery |

Well the mid-life crisis purchase is finally on it's way. It took longer than I expected it would. I gave you this picture as a tease a couple of weeks ago.
So today I will give you another teaser. This was taken at around 9:30 am this morning in Jacksonville Florida. Something was being loaded onto this truck. I cropped the something out of the picture for now... you'll get to see it next week when it arrives here and it gets unloaded.
Hopefully Tuesday the update will be posted.

A friend of mine used a quote on her blog today, that struck home with me. It plays right into stuff going on in my life, so I thought I would put it up here along with a mystery (to most of you) picture.
"Twenty years from now, you’ll regret the things you didn’t do, rather than the things you did." - Mark Twain

Actually, it's the first game we are going to. And it's in Boston. We have never been to Fenway. We are excited and nervous at the same time. We love the city of Boston, but we are worried how the Red Sox fans will react to some Yankee fans sitting in the bleachers. I am sure we will have a good time no matter what. Check back next week, and I am sure I will have some pictures from the game posted.
Later in May we are also heading out to Cleveland to catch a couple of games there. We will probably wind up seeing more away games than home games this season. I can't wait to see the new stadium, but ticket prices are up there.
